Third Term School Vacation for Sinhala Tamil & Muslim Schools | The Ministry of Education has announced the end dates for the 1st Step of Term 3 for both Sinhala and Tamil schools as well as Muslim schools, alongside vacation schedules and the start of the 2025 academic year.
Sinhala and Tamil Schools:
- End of 1st Step, Term 3: 22nd November 2024
- Vacation Period: 23rd November 2024 – 1st January 2025
- Start of 2nd Step, Term 3: 2nd January 2025
- End of Term 3: 24th January 2025
- Start of 2025 Academic Year: 27th January 2025
Muslim Schools:
- End of 1st Step, Term 3: 13th December 2024
- Vacation Period: 14th December 2024 – 1st January 2025
- Start of 2nd Step, Term 3: 2nd January 2025
