Temporary Demonstrators Jobs – South Eastern University of Sri Lanka (SEUOSL) | The South Eastern University of Sri Lanka is inviting suitable candidates for a Walk-in-Interview for the position of Temporary Demonstrator in two faculties.

1. Faculty of Islamic Studies & Arabic Language
   • Department of Arabic Language:
     • Position: Temporary Demonstrator in English
     • Requirements: Candidates should possess a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) Degree with specialization in Teaching English as a Second Language (TESL) or a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) Degree in English Language & Literature from a university recognized by the University Grants Commission.
2. Faculty of Technology
   • Department of Biosystems Technology:
     • Position: Temporary Demonstrator in Biosystems Technology
     • Requirements: Candidates should possess a Bachelor of Biosystems Technology (Honours) Degree or Bachelor of Science (Honours) Degree in Agriculture, Food Science & Technology (FST), or Agricultural Technology and Management or other relevant degrees with teaching experience from a recognized university in Sri Lanka.

Qualifications for Temporary Demonstrator Positions:

Candidates should hold a special degree in the relevant subject, either with:

1. First or Second Class (Upper Division) Honours,
2. Second Class (Lower Division) Honours, or
3. A degree without honours but with a postgraduate degree in the relevant subject.

Salary:

• The fixed salary scale is Rs. 40,920/- per month.
• The approximate gross salary, inclusive of all allowances, is Rs. 48,000/- per month.

Interested candidates are requested to attend the Walk-in-Interview on September 19, 2024 (Thursday), at the Board Room, Administrative Secretariat, South Eastern University of Sri Lanka, University Park, Oluvil.
