The Russian Federation has commenced the selection process for Sri Lankan citizens to apply for scholarships in the academic year 2025/26. These scholarships cover bachelor’s, specialty, master’s, and postgraduate research degrees at prestigious Russian state universities.
The admission campaign begins on October 7th, 2024, and candidates must register online at the official platform before December 31st, 2024. The Russian Center of Science and Culture in Colombo will manage the initial selection, with the final decision made by the Russian Ministry of Science and Education.
The scholarships aim to strengthen educational ties between Sri Lanka and Russia, providing opportunities for Sri Lankan students to pursue higher education in a variety of fields. All eligible candidates are encouraged to apply for these government-sponsored scholarships.
