The Ministry of Education and the NAITA in Sri Lanka have launched a national program to provide NVQ Level 4 training to students who have completed the Advanced Level Technology stream.
Key Points: NVQ Level 4 Training to Advanced Level Technology Students
- Eligible Streams: Students who have studied Engineering Technology, Bio Systems Technology, and Information and Communication Technology are eligible for this program.
- Training Opportunities: The program offers training in various fields such as:
- Engineering Technology: Construction Site Supervisor, Electrician, Motor Vehicle Mechanic, Aluminum Processing Technician, Vehicle Air Conditioning Technician, Electrical Equipment Maintenance Technician, Solar Power Technician, Water Pipe Technician, Welder, Security and Surveillance Systems Technician, Motor Vehicle Painter
- Bio Systems Technology: Plant Nursery Development Assistant, Flower Cultivation and Landscape Development Assistant, Livestock Technician, Fruit and Vegetable Processing Technician, Field Assistant (Agriculture), Aquaculture Technician
- Information and Communication Technology: Students who have studied Information Technology under the Technology stream are eligible for this training.
- Eligibility: Students who have followed the Advanced Level Technology stream examination are eligible to apply.
- Training Duration: The training program will last for six months.
- Certification: Upon completion of the training, students will receive a nationally and internationally recognized NVQ Level 4 certification.
- Application Deadline: The deadline for applications is January 31, 2025.
