The Civil Aviation Authority of Sri Lanka, in collaboration with Associated Newspapers of Ceylon Limited (ANCL) and Sri Lanka Rupavahini Corporation, is excited to announce the Island-wide Aviation Art Competition 2024. This art competition, organized in conjunction with World Children’s Day, invites students and the general public to express their vision of “The Future of Aviation Through Our Eyes.”
Open to participants across various categories, the competition provides an exciting platform for budding artists to explore and depict the wonders of aviation. Categories include:
- School Junior Section (Grades 6-9)
- School Senior Section (Grades 10-13)
- Higher Education Section (Higher Education)
- Open Section (General Public)
Participants may use any medium—such as watercolors, pastels, poster paints, or oil paints—on an 18″ x 14″ canvas. Submissions are due by November 7, 2024, and must be hand-delivered to the Civil Aviation Promotion Unit or sent by post to the Civil Aviation Authority of Sri Lanka at Minuwangoda Road, Katunayake.
