Interest-Free Student Loan Scheme (IFSLS) 2025 Intake Now Open – Ministry of Education

The Ministry of Education, Higher Education, and Vocational Education has announced the opening of applications for the Interest-Free Student Loan Scheme (IFSLS) for the 2025 intake (9th batch). This scheme provides students with an excellent opportunity to pursue higher education in recognized Non-State Higher Education Institutes without financial burdens.

Interest-Free Student Loan Scheme (IFSLS) 2025 : Key Details:

• Eligibility: Based on results from the GCE Advanced Level (A/L) examinations held in 2021, 2022, or 2023.
• Institutes: A total of 18 Non-State Higher Education Institutes are listed under the scheme, offering 100+ degree programmes in various fields.
• Loan Amount: A maximum of Rs. 1,500,000.00 per student for the full duration of the degree.
• Application Deadline: 22nd February 2025.
