The Open University of Sri Lanka Opens Applications for Diploma in Food Science 2024/2025

The Open University of Sri Lanka (OUSL) is now accepting applications for the Diploma in Food Science program for the academic year 2024/2025. This program is ideal for those looking to enhance their knowledge and skills in the field of food science and related industries.

Admission Requirements:

Applicants must meet one of the following criteria to be eligible for the program:

1. G.C.E. (A/L) in the Science stream with Chemistry as a subject, or Technology stream with Biosystems technology.
2. Passed in three (03) subjects including Chemistry, equivalent to 60 credits at Foundation Level courses (ACS) offered by OUSL.
3. Successfully completed a NVQ Level 5 qualification and a minimum of three years of experience in the food or food-related industry.
4. An equivalent or higher qualification acceptable to the Senate of OUSL.
