- At least 3 passes at the G.C.E. (A/L) and 6 passes at the G.C.E. (O/L), including Mathematics and the First Language, OR
- An Advanced Certificate in Pre-School Education from OUSL, OR
- A Primary Trained Teachers’ Certificate, OR
- Any equivalent qualification recognized by OUSL.
