The Open University of Sri Lanka (OUSL) has officially opened admissions for its Bachelor of Arts in Social Sciences program for the academic year 2024/25. This program, offered by the Department of Social Studies within the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, is designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of social sciences through a flexible and accessible learning environment.
Admission Requirements:
Prospective students can apply if they meet any of the following criteria:
- A minimum of three passes at the G.C.E. Advanced Level (A/L) Examination in any stream.
- Completion of any foundation program offered by the OUSL.
- Accumulation of a minimum of 30 credits at SLO Level 2 or above from any program approved by the OUSL Senate.
- Qualification or accredited work experience equivalent to NVQ Level 4.
- Any equivalent or higher qualification acceptable to the OUSL Senate.
