BA (Hons) in Library and Information Studies 2025 – Open University

The Open University of Sri Lanka (OUSL) is now accepting applications for the BA (Hons) in Library and Information Studies program for the 2025/2026 academic year.

Program Details

The program spans four years for Level 03 entry and two years for Level 05 direct entry. It is conducted in English and combines online and physical academic activities for a flexible learning experience. This structure ensures students can balance their studies with other commitments.

Admission Requirements

To qualify for direct registration, applicants must meet one of the following criteria:

• Passes in three Advanced Level (A/L) subjects and completion of any certificate course at OUSL.
• A Higher Diploma (60 credits) in Library and Information Science or an equivalent qualification recognized by the Senate of the Open University.
