Arunalu Siththam Children Art competition 2024 is ready to award prizes to the most beautiful drawings that are created by you, the talented little ones of Sri Lanka. Once again, the competition gives the opportunity for children living overseas to participate.

Arunalu Siththam Children Art Competition 2024

One student can submit only one drawing.
Participants residing overseas must be Sri Lankan, in order to be eligible to participate.
Any preferred medium can be used except for sticky, non-drying types of paints.
If the submitted drawing is selected as a winner or to the final round, you will be required to send us the original drawing upon notification, along with a certification from your Principal, Vice Principal, Grama Niladari or a lawyer as a part of the verification process.
Participants residing overseas must submit their original drawing along with a certification from their school’s Principal or Vice Principal. The drawing should be made available to us by following the instructions provided.
The drawing should be an original creation by you. It should not have been submitted to any other competition and you should not recreate it or give it to someone else to create.
The copyright of all drawings submitted to the competition will rest with Commercial Bank and will not be returned.
Winners will be decided by a veteran board of judges and the decision of the judges will be final.
Children of members of the staff employed at Commercial Bank cannot participate in this competition.

How to send in your drawings

To enter the competition, upload a scanned drawing of the artwork (in JPEG format, not more than 5MB) on to the website, www.arunalusiththam.lk, along with the relevant details, by 31st of August 2024.
The following details must be filled on the website – full name of competitor, date of birth of competitor, address, school and its address, name of mother/father/guardian, email address and telephone (mobile).

Prizes and certificates

Local

All categories apart from the pre-school category – 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places will be awarded cash prizes worth Rs. 100,000 I Rs. 75,000 1 Rs. 50,000 and certificates, respectively.
For all categories – 25 Excellence Award winners will receive Rs. 10,000 worth of cash prizes and certificates and 50 Merit Certificates will also be awarded.

Overseas

In all categories, 1 winner per category will be awarded a cash prize of Rs. 50,000 and a certificate.

Win prizes worth Rs. 2.4 million. All cash prizes will be credited to Arunalu Children’s Savings Accounts at Commercial Bank.

A special gift will be rewarded to Isuru and Arunalu account holders who are cash prize winners.
