The Open University of Sri Lanka Announces Advanced Certificate in Human Resource Management for 2025/2026

The Open University of Sri Lanka (OUSL) is pleased to announce the opening of applications for the Advanced Certificate in Human Resource Management (ACHRM) for the academic year 2025/2026. This program provides an excellent opportunity for individuals aiming to pursue a career in Human Resource Management without the requirement of having completed A/Ls.

Key Features of the ACHRM Program:

Direct Entry to Degree Program: Upon successful completion, students gain direct entry to the OUSL’s Bachelor of Management Studies Honours degree program without the need for a selection test.
Eligibility Criteria: Applicants must be over 16 years of age and meet one of the following criteria:
- Successfully complete 30 credits at SLQF Level 1 or above or any certificate course conducted by the Open University of Sri Lanka.
- Passed six subjects, including Mathematics and First Language, with at least two credit passes at the G.C.E (O/L) Examination in one sitting.
- Passed NVQF Level 3 in the relevant field, or any equivalent or higher qualification accepted by the Senate of the Open University of Sri Lanka.
Program Details:
- Duration: 1 year
- Medium of Instruction: English, Sinhala, and Tamil
- Course Fee: LKR 39,100, payable in two installments
- Application Fee: LKR 500.00
Application Period: Applications are open from 15th August 2024 to 30th September 2024.
Flexible Payment Options: Payments can be made via Credit/Debit card online. Those who do not have access to such facilities can pay in cash at any of the Regional/Study Centres of the OUSL.
