Diploma in Psychology (2025/2026) – University of Sri Jayewardenepura

The University of Sri Jayewardenepura is now accepting applications for the Diploma in Psychology program for the 2025/2026 academic year (Intake 03).

This one-year program, comprising two semesters, offers flexible learning opportunities with lectures conducted on Sundays from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM in both onsite and online formats. Classes will be available in Sinhala, with an English medium option provided if at least 60 students enroll in the English medium.

Course Details:

• Duration: One year (two semesters)
• Medium: Sinhala and English (conditions apply for the English medium)
• Course Fee: Rs. 66,000. Registration fee is Rs. 1,000, and payments can be made in two installments. The first installment of Rs. 45,000 must be paid upon registration.

Eligibility Criteria:
Applicants must meet one of the following qualifications:

1. Successful completion of the GCE (A/L) examination in three subjects in one sitting.
2. Completion of the GCE (A/L) examination in two subjects with a minimum of two years of work experience.
3. Completion of an NVQ Level 4 (Advanced Certificate) course from a recognized institution.

Note: Students awaiting their GCE (A/L) results this year are also eligible to apply, subject to conditions.
