The Department of Examinations has announced that the deadline for submitting applications for the G.C.E. O/L 2024 will end at midnight today (December 10).
Commissioner General of Examinations, Amith Jayasundara, confirmed that no applications will be accepted after the deadline under any circumstances.
Initially, candidates were given the opportunity to apply online from November 5 to November 30, 2024. However, the deadline was extended to December 10 in light of adverse weather conditions affecting many regions.
Speaking on the matter, Commissioner General Jayasundara stated, “I urge all candidates, both school and private, to submit their applications before midnight today. This is the final deadline, and late submissions will not be entertained under any circumstances. I strongly emphasize that anyone intending to sit for this examination must complete their online application promptly.”
