Competition Details:
- Theme: There is no specific theme or topic requirement. Participants are encouraged to explore statistical concepts and communicate them effectively through their posters.
- Eligibility: Open to students in Sri Lanka.
- Elementary (ages 9 to 11)
- Lower Secondary (ages 12 to 15)
- Upper Secondary (ages 16 to 18)
- University (Bachelor level students before writing their thesis)
- National Competition: The first phase will be a national competition held within Sri Lanka, organized by IASSL. Students can submit their statistical posters for consideration.
- International Competition (Organized by ISI): Outstanding posters from the national level will advance to the international competition organized by the International Statistical Institute (ISI).
- Winners Announcement: The overall winners will be announced at the end of December 2024 at the ISC 2024 conference
Submission Instructions:
- Submit your completed registration form and poster by September 30, 2024 via an email to[email protected]
- Maximum poster size is 10 MB. The font size should be such that if printed in A1, it would be readable from 2 meters (7 feet) away.

In the Poster Competition 2022-2023, participants are provided with JMP software. It can be used for analytical and graphical purposes in the creation of a poster. However, participants are free to use any tools in their work.
