Three Questions Removed from Grade 5 Scholarship Exam paper

Commissioner General of Examinations Amit Jayasundara said that it has been decided to remove three questions from the first question paper of the Grade 5 scholarship examination and give marks.

The Commissioner of Examinations also mentioned that the examination department has initiated full investigations to find out whether the question papers of the scholarship examination were tampered with.

He also mentioned that a preliminary investigation has been conducted based on the complaint that a fake question paper was circulated on social media as the first question paper of the scholarship examination.

The committee that prepares the question papers of the scholarship exam was summoned and discussed the mock question paper in detail and based on that they concluded that the mock question paper had only three questions as compared to the three questions mentioned in the real question paper.

Accordingly, he noted that a decision was taken to conduct evaluations by removing those three questions and give marks.
