Master of Business Administration (MBA) – University of Jaffna | The University of Jaffna, Faculty of Management Studies and Commerce, has announced the commencement of the Master of Business Administration (MBA) program, Intake VIII, for the academic year 2022/2023. Applications are now being accepted from qualified candidates for this prestigious program.
Admission Requirements:
To be eligible for admission, candidates must meet one of the following criteria and demonstrate a satisfactory level of English language proficiency:
- A Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University or Higher Education Institution in fields such as Business, Public Administration, Business Management, Commerce, Business Administration, or Management Studies.
- A Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University or Higher Education Institution, including a minimum of 30 credits in Business, Public Administration, Economics, Commerce, or Management Studies.
- A Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized University or Higher Education Institution.
- A Postgraduate Diploma in Business, Public Administration, Business Management, Commerce, Business Administration, or Management Studies, in addition to a Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline.
- A Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized University or Higher Education Institution, along with at least one year of post-qualifying work experience in a management capacity, acceptable to the Faculty Board and Senate of the University of Jaffna.
- Professional qualifications from an approved list (details at the university website) with at least three years of post-qualifying work experience in a management role, acceptable to the Faculty Board and Senate of the University of Jaffna.
- Other qualifications or experience recommended by the Faculty Board and Senate of the University of Jaffna.
Program Structure:
- Duration: Two years (comprising four semesters)
- Medium of Instruction: English
Course Fee:
The total fee for the MBA program is LKR 450,000. Payments can be made in two installments:
- Application Fee: Rs 2,000
- First Year: Rs 250,000
- Second Year: Rs 200,000
