The University of Colombo’s Faculty of Education is now accepting applications for its prestigious Postgraduate Diploma in Education (TESL) program for the 2024/2025 academic year. This program, recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and Ministry of Education, adheres to international standards and is available in both full-time and part-time formats.

• Entry Qualifications:
  1. A Bachelor’s degree (SLQF Level 5 or 6) from a recognized university or institution.
  2. Completion of NVQ Level 7 (equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree in SLQF).
• English Language Proficiency:
  • Candidates must possess a working knowledge of the English language and demonstrate satisfactory performance in a selection test and/or interview.
• Duration: The program spans one academic year, providing an intensive and comprehensive learning experience.
