The Department of Examinations has announced that the 2024 Ordinary Level (O/L) Examination is scheduled to be held in March next year. Commissioner General of Examinations, Amith Jayasundara, stated that while the exact dates are yet to be confirmed, the aim is to return to a normal examination schedule by 2026, minimizing delays in the academic calendar.
In addition, Commissioner General Jayasundara noted that the Advanced Level (A/L) Examination is set to begin on November 25th and continue until December 20th of this year.
For students awaiting re-evaluation of their recently released O/L results, the application process will begin tomorrow and will be open until October 14th. Candidates must submit their re-evaluation requests online within this period, as no applications will be accepted after the deadline.
Starting Monday morning, certificates related to the examination results will also be issued. Students can access their result sheets via online platforms, one-day services, or regular services.
